Mrs. Brown's 1st Grade Class

Hello!  I'm so excited to be here at Tatum Elementary teaching 1st grade. I look forward to a wonderful year. 

 

I have been teaching since 2008.  I graduated from Texas Tech, where I studied Education and met my husband.   I started my teaching career here in Farmersville, teaching Kindergarten, then we were relocated with my husband's job to Midland, Texas where I taught 1st grade for 7 years.  

 

We have adopted four beautiful children. Kenah 10, Kyrah 6, Jeremiah 5 and Josiah 4. We were so glad to have the opportunity to move back here and raise our family. 

 

I love teaching!  I create a positive environment where children are loved, encouraged and inspired to become life long learners.
